“Noughts and Crosses”
is a tale of two very different and is the book I am currently reading. The
world has been segregated into two sections, the white skinned noughts and the
black skinned crosses. The crosses are the superior with the best jobs, houses and
education. The noughts are poor and live in small houses, unlikely to “get in”
to a school. We follow the story of two
teenage friends, Callum and Sephy who come from different races and so are
supposed to hate each other. Sephy’s parents hate noughts and vice versa. How
long will they stay friends until politics rules over them? Find out in this
well worth reading, tale of discovery.
